• Hurricanes are very serious storms. Don’t underestimate their destructive force.

Pregnant Women
• If you are in your 37th week or later, go to the Keesler AFB Medical Center.
• Keesler AFB will accept high-risk patients on a case-by-case basis.
• CBC Shelters cannot accept women past their 24th week of pregnancy.
• We have no facilities (ICU, etc.) to support you or your child if you give birth.
• Women past their 24th week should make plans to evacuate.
• Women past their first trimester should seriouslyconsider evacuation.

On-Base Shelters

• No pets (unless seeing-eye dogs) are allowed in the shelters.

• Registration forms can be filled out in advance. ID cards are required for all individuals entering the shelters (except small children).
• All private vehicles must be parked on the grinder. A shuttle bus will be provided to transport members to and from the shelters.
