Branch Health Clinic Ingleside provides first-rate outpatient medical care to active-duty military personnel, their family members, military retirees and their family members. Primary Care offers the largest concentration of care, as well as illness intervention requiring hospitalization provided through external resource sharing agreements. Beneficiaries in our system have a Primary Care Manager as a central point of care delivery.
With the establishment of TRICARE, active-duty family members are enrolled in TRICARE Prime, giving them the option of choosing their Primary Care Manager (PCM) by name. Active-duty family members not wishing to enroll in TRICARE Prime may elect to use TRICARE Extra or TRICARE Standard. Individuals wanting more information about TRICARE may contact the TRICARE Service Center at 1-800-444-5445.
The Clinic has the following medical services: family practice and general medical care including pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, industrial hygiene, occupational and preventive medicine, physical exams, audiograms and health benefits advising. Physical therapy services (from Naval Hospital) are provided biweekly.
To make an appointment, call the Clinic at 776-4575. The Pharmacy can be reached at (361) 776-5544.
In case of an emergency, go immediately to the nearest hospital emergency room — since there isn’t an emergency room located at the Clinic. Our goal at the Clinic is to provide you with the highest standard of medical care while treating you with the courtesy you deserve.
Dental care at the Clinic provides comprehensive restorative, surgical and preventive care, as well as dental hygienic services provided by a registered Dental Hygienist. The Family Member dental Plan (FMPD) is available to all active-duty family members living in the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Guam. The program gives you the option of choosing a participating civilian dentist as your dental provider. You can verify your family member’s enrollment by phone at 1-800-866-8499 or website: www.ucci.com. If not enrolled, you may do so at the website or by using mail in enrollment forms available here at the dental clinic.
Should you have a dental emergency after Clinic hours, call the appointment line at 776-4581, the answering message will give you information about how to reach the Duty Dental Technician, who will respond to your call. Our mission is to maximize the dental health and wellness of our patients, while providing you with the highest quality care and customer service.
